Emrys Art Supplies - - Eclipse Black Sable Brushes

 These silky smooth, firm and resilient brushes are made from Russian Black Sable. This hair shows very little brush strokes, has a firm feel and moves paint easily and is responsive.

They feature unique contoured, pewter colored, wood handles that allow a balanced grip at the tail for easel painting, as well as close up work.

Round: The smaller sizes for detailed lines and highlights, the larger sizes for clean linear marks.

Short Flat Bright: Produces defined marks. Gives great control of thicker or larger amounts of colour.

Double Thick Bright: The Double thick tuft provides extra durability and colour-carrying capacity. Gives great control of thicker or larger amounts of colour.

Filbert: The oval edge combines the control of the short flat with the softer edges of the round.

Fans: A finishing brush used for portraits and landscapes. Creates soft details and good for stippling and graining effects.
